Panattoni, one of the world's largest industrial real estate developers, has announced the strategic appointment of Abhilash Pasupuleti as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), India.
This appointment comes at a defining moment for the company as it aggressively scales its pan-India footprint and continues to expand its presence across key industrial and logistics markets in the country. As COO, Abhilash will oversee operations across Panattoni’s development portfolio and work closely with the leadership team to drive the company’s strategic growth plans, operational excellence and deliver customer-focused, specialised, tech-driven, and ESG-compliant infrastructure.
Panattoni has rapidly established its presence in India with landmark developments, including its foundational Delhi-NCR project at Panattoni Park NH71 and the recently announced mega-logistics park in Kochi and a breakthrough, specialised aerospace-grade manufacturing hub in Hyderabad.
Abhilash brings over 16 years of extensive experience in the real estate industry, encompassing investments, asset management, capital markets and fundraising. Prior to joining Panattoni, he served as Executive Director and Head of Asset Management at IndoSpace, where he oversaw the performance of development funds and a Core investment vehicle with an AUM of approximately USD 3 billion.
Over the course of his career, he has built extensive experience across investment strategy, portfolio management, investor engagement and operational leadership. He has held positions with leading global financial and advisory institutions, including JP Morgan Chase, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, and Citi Markets.
Abhilash holds an MBA in Finance alongside a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
In his new role, he will take immediate operational charge of Panattoni’s expanding geographic portfolio, ensuring the standardised, world-class execution is replicated flawlessly across new regional entries. With occupiers moving away from standard storage to advanced engineering spaces – such as Panattoni’s new climate-controlled, high-load aerospace facility in Hyderabad – Abhilash’s expertise will be instrumental in delivering complex, high-spec industrial assets.
